I have signed up to do the Mongol Rally this summer, an adventure that involves driving a totally unsuitable vehicle over 10000 miles from London to Mongolia (and back!) in order to help raise money for Médecins Sans Frontières and Cool Earth. Our team has just bought a Rover 827 limousine and preparations are well under way.

The current route is something like this: England, France, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia and of course Mongolia…

…AND THEN back, the quick way, through Russia!

Médecins Sans Frontières are a humanitarian charity that provides medical assistance to countries affected by armed conflict, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. We have chosen to support MSF as the majority of the funds raised go directly to running their support programs. We will also be raising money for the Mongol Rally’s official charity, Cool Earth.

To start off the fundraising our team have all entered the Bath Half marathon which is on the 2nd of March, other fundraising to follow.

All the money raised will go directly to these two charities. Thank you for all of your support.
